About us

Geos Nordic is a large industrial company, which owns the Granite and Concrete Plants. Geos Nordic was established in the course of the investment project realized by Geos Tek’s management. Ges Tek has been operating in the Baltic market since the year of 2004. We started off with the production of concrete products. Until the year of 2009 the main line of business was the city landscaping, i.e. the production of the tailored street furniture. One may come across our works around Estonia, let us mention the largest ones – the furniture in Vabaduse square in Tallinn, the promenades in their full length in cities Johvi and Kohtla-Jarve, furniture in Narva and objects in other cities. Since 2009, the firm started to deliver, produce and sell various products from granite stone. In 2012, we launched the industrial line for the full cycle of granite processing, incl. from open-pit mine blocks to the end products, ready to be delivered to clients. In 2013, the company started to expand into the Northern markets. During the last few years, we have been closely working with Finnish and Swedish workshops that manufacture and sell monuments. Currently, we are capable to realize almost every kind of granite processing. Our capabilities grow with every next order. Because we want to be successful, we started negotiations with several investors. In the middle of 2015, we launched the investment project, which aims at the installation of a new production line for carving and polishing slabs, using the capacity up to 3500 m2. The reconstruction of the existing granite production is already in progress. The reconstruction will result in 4 separate rooms: 900m2 of the main production for finished slabs and products processing; 150 m2 shop for cutting blocks into slabs; 270 m2 intermediate slabs storage; 600 m2 warehouse for storage and batching ready products. Besides, the outdoor sites with the area not less than 3000m2 have been also organized there for holding materials and finished products.

The granite production technological park will get the following machine tools, already purchased from the leading European suppliers:

• Multi-wire saw BMKODIAK 20 Ver 2.0 performance 2800-3400 m2 slabs in month
• Two automatic polishing machines Promasz AS-01.2
• Dimensioning saw Fickert FBS 70018kW
• (Bridge) cutting machine ProMechPPF/1600/2500x2500
• Threelever-type polishing machines
• Wire saw for profile cutting of complex shapes and holes Falkenstein VAR-3S-400

The new workshops will be launched step by step, starting from September 2015. The official launch of the complete production line is planned in December 2015.

After the launch of the complete production line, our company will be able to offer a wide range of products:

1. Granite slabs production from Swedish, Finnish, Norwegian and Spanish granite of different thickness, with polished and rough surface (bush hammered and flame-treated).
2. Production of the ready monuments without engraving
3. Production of the ready monuments with engraving and installation
4. End products made under drawings and preliminary drawings of client. The list of the potential products includes:

• Paving elements (paving plates of different size and shape)
• Interior and exterior stairs (of different size and shape)
• Window-sills and other elements of the interior and exterior
• Façade plates
• Granite borders and curbs
• Other building elements which can be produced using the existing equipment

1. Production articles of standard size for sale from stock and sale through big building materials outlet chains
2. Granite aggregate of different colour sorted by fractions.
3. Packed granite dust (mineral fertilizers for agriculture and farming).

In addition, we can announce that the concrete plant will also undergo reconstruction and development. We are planning to launch new articles and increase the volume of city landscaping products.
